Support our competition efforts!

Investing in a competition horse is a thrilling way to participate in FEI dressage!  A horse intended for FEI-level competition would be purchased by both Team JS (trainer-owner) and you (investor-owner) based on Team JS's recommendation.  The horse then stays in training with us, who as trainer-owner continues to access, train, and campaign the horse as we think appropriate.  You, as the investor-owner, are responsible for all out-of-pocket expenses, including board, competition fees, shoeing, vet work, etc.  We, as the trainer-owner are responsible for continued training and promotion of the competition horse.

As the investor-owner, you'll benefit by experiencing the pride of watching your investment grow to an FEI competition horse.  You will receive regular updates, join our team at competitions, receive Team JS logowear, and enjoy potential tax benefits.  Additionally, some competition horses might be appropriate as schoolmasters when their competition career is complete, and you'll benefit by learning from the horse's years of FEI experience.  We will benefit by adding another quality horse to our competition string.

Invest in a horse for resale!

Although we aren't a sales barn, investing in a horse for resale is an exciting way to support Team JS.  An investment horse would be purchased by the investor-owner based on our recommendation.  The horse then stays in training with us,  who as trainer-owner continues to access, train, and market the horse as we think appropriate.  You, as the investor-owner, are responsible for all out of pocket expenses, including board, shoeing, vet work, competition costs, etc.  We, as the trainer-owner would be responsible for continued training and marketing costs.  After all costs incurred by the parties are recovered, the profit is split evenly amongst the investing parties. All parties benefit by watching your investment grow and by enjoying the potential tax benefits.
